Potato Pi Parts Begin to Arrive

If you remember my half-baked post regarding the Potato Pi then you know I’m going to attempt to power a Raspberry Pi from a unique power source for the sake of wordplay.

I bought a Raspberry Pi 2, but won’t be using that.  The Pi2 will replace one of my other Raspberry Pis so I can use one of the old Raspberry Pi 1’s for this pointless project of carbohydrate weirdness.

There’s a few reasons for using this version of the Pi.

1. Has a lower power requirement than the Pi2
2. This particular one has to stay in that case so it can keep constant pressure on the SD card due to a dodgy socket.  So I don’t mind if it dies.
